A Hands-Off, Documentary Storytelling Approach

Some wedding days feel like they bring everything full circle, and Jenna + Ryan’s was one of those. We actually first met Jenna years ago at her brother’s wedding we photographed at Purgatory Ski Resort in Durango, Colorado. Originally we met her brothers fiance at another wedding we were photographing and filming, she was the cousin of the bride. Talk about referrals—it’s such a joy when our couples become a part of an extended wedding family. So, when Jenna reached out about her own day at The Manor House in Littleton, we couldn’t wait to be there.

Why Manor House is Colorados Best Wedding Venue

If you've never seen The Manor House, prepare to be impressed. This 1914 colonial- style estate sits on 6 secluded acres just outside of downtown Denver. With panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains & the Denver skyline, its a dream.

A Reception That Brought the House Down.

And then came the party, with one of Colorados coolest DJ's keeping the music alive, the dance floor was nonstop energy. Guests laughed, sang and danced alongside giant cutouts of Jenna and Ryans pets. A hilarious and personal touch we loved.

Why This Wedding Was so Special to Us.

Jenna and Ryan's day was a perfect blend of heartfelt and fun. Exactly the kind of celebration we love documenting. For us, it wasn't just another wedding, it was the continuation of a story we have been lucky to capture across multiple couples and families.

As Southwest wedding photographers, we love when we get to travel from New Mexico up to Colorado to document weddings like this one. Every time we're reminded that it's not just about the photos - it's about the people, their connections and their stories that weave them all together.
